Grab the opportunity whenever you find
a vacuum. This principal was applied very strategically by UPA-II in
their 2013 budget keeping an eye with the next general elections. One of the most astounding and uninvited gift to women of
the nation is a proposal to constitute a bank exclusively for them. I
believe this was just to regain the lost confidence in woman when
govt lost credibility and came under huge public ire from
recent Delhi rape and murder case that happened last year, which
shook the entire nation unlike any politically motivated voice.
The voice of public was a welcome gesture
after several wake-up calls given by the nationalists on several issues since Indian Independence. Though the anger was not part of vote bank politics, but
it is no more trivial, it has deflated the woman vote bank of
Congress.
One more interesting fact I missed on
Harvard educated FM speech, did he out-line any plan on how to stop tracing the pockets of politician which was kept in
the name of scams, or he has any secret meeting with his political colleagues to outline some better scheme than Cash Transfer Scheme.
